Why conduct an organizational audit?
To get a clear macro and micro view of how your organization operates: what’s working, what needs to evolve.

What would you like to change?

  • That everyone knows their scope of responsibility

  • That it’s clear who does what and who decides what

  • That the right people are in the room during meetings

  • That decisions move faster

  • That there are dedicated spaces to process tensions

Benefits of this audit

  • A status report on what’s working and what isn’t

  • A visual map of your internal structure

  • A shared diagnosis and recommendations for organizational and governance evolution

Our approach

Running an audit means meeting the organization and the people behind it. We gather input through individual or group interviews, listening to the real, lived experiences of your team.

This practical insight allows us to design custom support based on what is truly useful for your context.

Internal stakeholders are the experts of their situation. No external consultant can claim to know the solutions for them—but an outside facilitator can offer a structure for listening, collecting, and connecting internal expertise.

How does it work?

$

The process includes:

  • Observation audit: Identify dysfunctions, and offer a critical perspective—both macro and micro—on the current structure.
  • Governance mapping: Make your current setup visible so you can decide what to keep or evolve.
  • Recommendations: Written by the Sémawé team. (Optional) We can support you in defining the action plan as a team.

Work formats

  • Individual interviews with all team members or a representative group

  • Group workshops to build a shared understanding and diagnosis

$

What happens after the audit?

Governance audits help pinpoint tensions and friction points. Afterward, various support options are available depending on what you want to change. Here are a few examples:

  • Clarifying roles and operational rules

  • Adopting Holacracy

  • Management training

  • Team facilitation training

  • Training in relational skills

  • Co-writing a new internal governance charter through working groups, collective workshops, or offsites
