What is Holacracy?
Holacracy, a constitutional of governance
Holacracy is a management system based on a constitution. All the rules of the game are explicit. They make it possible to distribute responsibilities within the company in a structured way, while retaining vertical authority in certain areas of the organization. Holacracy is a toolbox for clarifying roles and authorities. The system also offers specific meeting processes that enable self-organization and synchronization, so that teams remain highly effective on a day-to-day basis.

Our experience
We adopted a Holacracy mode of governance in 2018, after several years of practicing Agile approaches. Thanks to this system of governance, which supports autonomy, decisions are taken more quickly, with greater subsidiarity. We experience the day-to-day realities of employees and associates in a climate of great trust.
Far from being a purely horizontal system, Holacracy enables us to be very clear and precise about “who does what”, and how decisions are made. Authority and leadership are not incompatible with the use, where effective, of collective intelligence.
With Holacracy, we have discovered a system of governance that enables us to :

- assert individuality
- respect a framework and clear, precise rules
- be a high-performance, growing company

Did you know? Coaching in Holacracy is regulated by a certification process that coaches must obtain. This certification grants an organization the status of « Provider, » meaning it is officially authorized to support businesses in implementing Holacracy.
